On Wax is an emerging online platform designed to connect buyers and sellers within the vinyl record market. For this project, I developed the brand from the ground up, defining the visual identity, colour system and the app’s UX and UI. A strong emphasis was placed on understanding the core target audience and designing a purchase experience that felt dynamic, intuitive, and streamlined.
The brand was designed to feel dynamic and playful, reflecting the free-spirited nature of On Wax’s target audience. Avoiding a corporatised aesthetic was key, resulting in a platform that feels approachable, intuitive, and versatile. At its core, On Wax empowers buyers by restoring choice and control, offering multiple ways to discover and purchase vinyl records within a trusted marketplace.
